Please excuse the extreme fuzziness and my thumb in the picture, but my camera phone is not the best...
This is my modified and painted Nerf Maverick for my Halloween costume. It now has the Russian Roullette mod, which allows the chamber to come out completely, spin freely, and go back in with a flick of the wrist.
The gun was also painted with a coat of black spray paint, then several metallic and flat shades of Games Workshop hobby paints.
I plan to touch up the paint (I have to paint the front a neon color, so I'm thinking of adding bits of green to the whole thing). It seems that the 2 inch glow sticks I need to put in between the barrels are not sold in California anymore and are very expensive to buy online. So instead I may fill straws with glow in the dark paint and seal the ends with a two part epoxy from Games Workshop commonly called "Green Stuff."
I will also probably also add a chain with a feather charm to the back of the gun and a clear coat of spray paint to seal it. I also bought the special glow in the dark Nerf pellets today and they work just fine.
Suggestions are appreciated, but nasty comments are best kept to yourself
